Week 5 Flowering Hairs Turning Brown

Once 80% of the hairs have turned brown, it's time to prepare for the harvest. I'm starting to see a lot of orange hairs come through but it is mostly white hairs on the bud sites with no actual fattening of the bud.

I chose the 5.3 medium golden brown Garnier Olia hair

I usually give the molasses mixed into plain water at 1 tablespoon per gallon.

Just give them phd water for awhile. Within a couple days you will see new pistils come back out and grow, increasing the size of your buds. They darken, then get week and pull out very easily.

It's important to remember that it is normal for some strains to put out new waves of pistils two or three times during the flowering stage, even without heat or light damage. The discoloring of the hairs is a good indicator for the moment of harvest. In these pictures you can see that some of the hairs are already discoloring.

I wouldn't worry about the brown hair. The longer you wait, the stronger the 'stone' of the cannabis will be. As week four of the cannabis flowering stages progresses, those budlets will get bigger — not as big as they will be in a few more weeks, of course, but bigger than they were to start.

True browing and wilting of the pistals is pollenation.but if they look a lil red / lil brown at 3 weeks you should start seein more bud growth and new white pistals as the old 1's wither.which is normal.
